INSTALL UP9 CLI

The UP9 CLI is a very powerful tool. For example, you can use the UP9 CLI to observe browser traffic using Google's Puppeteer.

INSTALLING THE CLI

We provide several options to install the CLI. Depending on your favorite method, you can choose from one of these options:
Brew
NPM

BREW

Installing using Brew:

brew tap up9inc/brew && brew install up9

Continue to verify your installation.

NPM

You can install the UP9 CLI using NPM.

$ npm install -g up9

To update your NPM package:

npm i -g up9

Continue to verify your installation.

VERIFY PACKAGE INSTALLATION

Once you've installed the CLI using one of the above methods, open terminal window, and run following command:

up9 version

The command should respond in something like this:

up9/0.38.2 darwin-x64 node-v13.2.0

LOG IN

Use the Terminal window to log in the CLI.

up9 auth:login

This command will open browser where you can authenticate to the UP9 dashboarde.
When authentication process is complete, you can close the browser tab.

To verify successful login, you can run:

up9 auth:show
Logged in to up9.app as: [email protected]
